The Problem

Traditional physiotherapy doesn't aim at preventing future injuries, but to examine an existing injury and help the individual with first relieving symptoms and then overcoming the injury and hopefully its original sources too.

I express genuine concern regarding the noticeable decline in the health, fitness, and overall well-being of our society. This decline can be attributed to various factors such as the pervasive distractions of technology, unhealthy eating habits, and reduced engagement in outdoor activities, all of which pose significant challenges to maintaining good health.

One of the obstacles contributing to this decline is the difficulty in accessing timely healthcare services, including physiotherapy, and committing to the often prolonged and demanding recovery processes that may be required.

Facing injuries is a prevalent struggle that many individuals encounter concerning their physical health. As a former competitive swimmer navigating the complexities associated with aging, I am familiar with the challenges of balancing training, nutrition, injury prevention, and preparing for competitions effectively.

Training with specific objectives necessitates unwavering dedication, a structured regimen, and mental fortitude to persevere through setbacks. Being both physically and mentally prepared is essential to prevent injuries and setbacks.

Despite seeking assistance from sports physiologists and mental health professionals, identifying sustainable solutions for continuous fitness and injury prevention remains a persistent challenge.

During a challenging period, I leveraged my expertise to develop a solution aimed at preventing physical injuries to aid those confronting similar obstacles.

Injuries can lead to discomfort, limitations, stress, diminished fitness levels, and unhealthy behaviours like overeating and prolonged periods of inactivity.
Establishing positive habits becomes increasingly demanding with age, but with proper guidance and determination, it is an attainable goal.

The programme is how I share my skills and knowledge for you to treat yourself at home.  You'll find out how I treat the muscular system to ensure its key elements are ready to support your entire movement system.

As a physiotherapist, clinical tutor, and owner of my private physiotherapy practice GKPhysiotherapy for over 15 years I'm ready to try and help you in advance - as much as I can.

I've created for you a physically-transforming program as a result of my own struggle. Being a competitive swimmer and amateur athlete, I've constantly either injured myself or underperformed due to injuries at the wrong time.
